Who is the course for?
This course is for hairdressers and hair loss professionals who are curious and compassionate about learning how to help people during cancer and hair loss. It is in no way a measure of what you don’t know, as you may be a very experienced hairdresser or hair loss professional, or you might not have any experience in this area at all.
It’s an opportunity to upscale and specialise in this area of haircare that is surrounded by medical jargon and hairdressing myths. You are not alone if answering the following questions leaves you wondering what really is the best guidance to offer people during cancer treatment.
Will shaving my hair off prior to chemo cause regrowth problems?
When is it best to colour hair post chemotherapy treatment?
Why does hair grow back curly after treatment?
Is it true that scalp cooling works by freezing the hair follicles?
What products should be used post treatment?
How can I build a ‘cancer support service’ into my business model?
This course is run in partnership with Cancer Hair Care and Holistic Hair Care Expert. Holistic Hair Care Expert are the educational partner for charity Cancer Hair Care.
